For years, I have been frustrated by 160 meters! I never could get my dipole up high enough to perform well. I tried inverted- L's with 10 radials which was better, but still, could not get out very well. I then tried the W8AMX 160 M reduced 1/2 sloper, hung from my 50 foot tower and running the "grounded" side down a wire along the tower to its ground rods at the base.. Getting the feed point up 50 feet in the air made all the difference! In the first winter DX season on the top band, I worked 68 countries with just 75 watts of CW! This sucker works and works FB! I am having a ball on the top band with the W8AMN antenna! Thanks, Tom!

I bought the Full Size 6m – 80m G5RV and an 1 : 1 Balun add-on Kit. What a great antenna. Great signal reports from the gang on 75 meters. Construction of this antenna is the best I have ever seen. Thanks Tom for a great product and that its made in Michigan. A fine USA product. Waterford, Michigan

I bought the G5RV 10m-80m and it really boosted my signals on my QRP station, it was a world of difference! Also I installed it during a snow-storm and into a old Elm Tree, the components are put together well and take the stress of a unorthodox configuration without a problem. I am going to buy another one now, just in case W8AMZ stops making them. I could never home-brew a antenna this durable.

Fellow "ham friends" re: Toms antennas, they are superb!!, Just something i did living on a city lot with #326 dxcc Cfm,, i sprayed my center and end wire insulators dark brown as not to bring attention., no ground radials needed with the 40m. vertical,, just 2 elevated is enough,You have my word!,, i dont know how co-phased would do? 73 and good DX, Dave

Tnx, Tom for the built like a "battleship" 40m. vert with just 2 elevated radials , my radials @ 14 feet,, great low radiation angle helps me get the way off DX,, past 1000 miles it gets down!!! super lower swr,, i compare it to my dipole @ 60 feet and your vertical overtakes it. being a Dx chaser, I would buy another one,, your thoughts Tom on co- phasing??. I highly recommend this antenna.. ( FR) Reunion Island, no problem!!! 73,Dave (NC4AA)

Ordered one of the ZS6BKW dipoles and have been using it for a few weeks now. Very well constructed and everything is solid. First two contacts that I made were DX stations in Croatia and the Ukraine. This is a great antenna and usable over a wide range of frequencies

Half sloper is 1\4 sloper, NOT 1\2 !!!!!

I have the 160 meter reduced 1/2 sloper. I have on three 10 foot pipe. That only 30 feet, have a piece of wire going to a ground rod. SWR flat on 1.895.00 to 1.979.00. That great for me. I will buy the 80m and 40 m sloper.

I just completed a small fan dipole for 15 and 20M using your Dipole Center Fed Insulator. The antenna is doing great and looks professionally made, even though I made it! I definitely recommend your Dipole Center Insulator.
